job details

Your role at Medgenix

As Shift Supervisor Fill & Pack, you lead the day-to-day filling and packaging activities within your shift, supported by an Assistant Supervisor.

You make sure your team has what it needs to perform at its best while keeping a close eye on quality, safety and productivity. From a smooth start-up to the final packaged product, you keep people and operations moving in the right direction.

You report directly to the Production Manager.

What you will be doing

  • Lead, support and motivate your team, setting the example when it comes to our procedures, standards and ways of working.
  • Welcome and train new colleagues, making sure they get off to a strong start in GMP, safety, quality and hygiene.
  • Organise clear communication within the team, including shift handovers, safety meetings and discussions on productivity and deviations.
  • Coordinate and follow up the filling and packaging schedule and actively look for opportunities to improve productivity.
  • Make sure our pharmaceutical and cosmetic products are filled and packed according to procedures, specifications and applicable quality and safety requirements.
  • Ensure filling and packaging operations are started up correctly.
  • Turn improvement opportunities into action across quality, productivity, safety and employee wellbeing.
  • Follow up technical issues and changes to equipment, utilities and production areas.
  • Keep reporting accurate and participate in daily production meetings to provide a clear view of your department’s performance.

Your formula for success

You enjoy taking the lead and getting the best out of a team. At the same time, you feel comfortable in a hands-on production environment where quality and procedures matter.

Ideally:

  • You have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and/or several years of experience in a supervisory role within a production environment.
  • You’re motivated to lead, coach and develop a team.
  • You communicate clearly and confidently.
  • You have an affinity for technology and enjoy working in a dynamic production environment.
  • You’re comfortable using MS Office.
  • You have an excellent command of Dutch, both spoken and written.

What's in it for you?

At Medgenix, you’ll join a Belgian company where your contribution is visible and where there’s room to take ownership, share ideas and grow.

For this role, you can count on:

  • A permanent night shift with a predictable schedule.
  • Monday to Thursday: 21:00–05:00.
  • Friday: 19:00–02:00, so your weekend starts a little earlier.
  • 12 additional ADV days per year.
  • A varied leadership role combining people management and production.
  • A workplace at our production site next to Wevelgem Airport, with easy accessibility.
  • The opportunity to contribute to how we improve our production environment, rather than simply following the status quo.

If the role feels like a good match, we’d still like to hear from you.
